About us

CAHNZ

The Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia Support Group of New Zealand is an online platform providing free education, support and resources to individuals and families with children affected by congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Formed in 1998, CAHNZ is New Zealand’s only registered CAH support forum.

Our aims are:

  • To provide information and support to individuals and families affected by congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
  • To liaise and network with secondary healthcare providers and other paraprofessionals for the sharing of information and resources and to promote a greater awareness of how this condition impacts individuals and families of affected children.
  • To build partnerships which promote research into congenital adrenal hyperplasia, especially within New Zealand.
  • To build partnerships with similar support groups nationally and worldwide.
